Samasthi Hospital
Lucknow
Project Overview
Samasthi Hospital is envisioned as a large-scale, technology-first healthcare campus designed to accommodate over 1,000 beds. The project extends beyond the conventional hospital programme by integrating serviced accommodation for patients' relatives within the larger development.
With a built-up area of approximately 1.2 million sq. ft., the campus brings together complex healthcare infrastructure and supporting accommodation within a unified development.
Planning Approach
The project incorporates atriums and courtyards as integral components of the campus organisation. These spaces form part of the architectural framework, helping structure a development of considerable scale.
A distinctive aspect of the programme is the inclusion of over 100 serviced accommodation rooms for patients' relatives. These have been planned with discrete access and movement, allowing the accommodation component to function within the larger campus while maintaining a separate circulation arrangement.
Architectural Highlight
The integration of a high-capacity quaternary care hospital with dedicated accommodation for patient relatives gives Samasthi Hospital a broader healthcare campus programme.
By combining technology-led healthcare infrastructure, large-scale clinical capacity and supporting accommodation, the project explores a more comprehensive model of healthcare development.
